ABOUT NATHAN FORBES

Nathan is a musician and linguist based in the central belt of Scotland. Originally from Dunfermline, he graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2018 with an MA(Hons) in French and Philosophy and is currently studying for an MSc in Interpreting and Translating at Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.

"I am passionate about language learning and about growing relationships between cultures. When you learn a new language you learn about a whole culture and a different way of looking at the world in which you live."

"Two important things happened when I was 10 years old: I watched 'School of Rock' for the first time and my dad taught me how to play guitar. Ever since then, music has been a huge part of my life."

Nathan is a certified member of the PVG Scheme (Disclosure Scotland) and is experienced in children's and youth work.
